About The Position
Our Mission
BlueGreen Water Technologies is one of the world leaders in developing treatments and technologies that restore, safeguard, and optimize the health and safety of the world’s waterbodies. Focusing on harmful algal blooms (cyanobacteria) that disrupt climates and ecosystems, BlueGreen develops and deploys cutting-edge technologies and water formulations to track, trace, analyze, and treat water bodies around the world.
Our extensive work in this field has allowed us to amass a vast bank of data and expertise which we are now using to turn our capabilities to address the burning issue of carbon capture.
The Role
As the Corporate Counsel, you will manage all legal business matters, work to protect the rights in various company areas, including legal oversight of the ESG program and legal support for company matters and general commercial contracts.
Reporting to: CFO
Responsibilities
- Experience with general corporate matters and drafting general commercial contracts.
- Experience with global legal ESG regulations, initiatives, and practices across international markets.
- Act as the primary contact regarding implementation and compliance for ESG regulations and/or initiatives
- Ability to review and evaluate multi-faceted issues and counsel business colleagues on complex legal questions relating to various business matters.
- Provide legal expertise across the business: Work closely with our C-Level and our external counsels (in Israel and aboard) on various legal matters and agreements: licensing, distribution, terms of sale, terms of use, NDAs, service agreements etc.
- Advise on labor law and employment related issues.
- Prepare and present materials such as agenda, meeting minutes for internal meetings, committee meetings, or the meetings of the Boards.
- Generate and maintain the Company’s corporate and legal records, including official meeting minutes (board and shareholders).
- Create and maintain standard templates, contracts database, business processes and internal policies.
- Provide internal legal support to different teams within the company in reviewing, negotiating, and advising on agreements with consultants and suppliers.
- Support the Company’s subsidiaries operational procedures and regulations.
Requirements
- Commercial lawyer with 5+ years’ experience in the high-tech industry either as an ‘in-house’ or from a leading law firm.
- Experience in global legal ESG regulations 3+years
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Excellent understanding of corporate, and employment law.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively within a fast-paced business environment.
- Super organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and English. Additional languages – advantage.

LLB degree, member of the Israel Bar Association-Must
